Rose of Jericho plant, also known as the resurrection plant! This plant will arrive dry and when placing the roots in water, will "come back to life", spreading out and turning green.
The Rose of Jericho is a magical plant that has associations of protection, removal of bad health and the evil eye, as well as transformation and prosperity.
HOW TO USE :
Place one on your money altar to refresh and rejuvenate your finances
Place one by your front door for good luck and protection
Use the water to wash your hands and bring in good luck
Add to baths, spell work, floor washes, simmer pots, etc
We recommend at first use, placing the plant in a small amount of room temperature water. If you put too much water around the plant at first, you run the risk of growing mould, so use a little water and allow the plant to dry up slightly every few days. After a couple weeks of this, the plant can then be submerged fully in water (if you wish!) but the water does need to be changed every couple of days to keep the plant clean and fresh. We also recommend allowing the plant to dry out and curl back up every few weeks or months; the Rose of Jericho typically has a life of around 7 years so this can be done many times.
