DAMIANA :
Now to me, Damiana is pretty much the big daddy of herbs for love magic. Damiana has been well known for centuries as an aphrodisiac, boosting sexual arousal, and enhancing pleasure through the brain and nerves. CHAMOMILE :
Chamomile is usually seen as an herb used for money spells, and reducing stress, but in a way that relates to love magic! Aint nobody gonna wanna be exerting all their energy in the bedroom when they've got the weight of the world on their shoulders. Chamomile, however, is also associated with the Sun, and during Litha (Summer Solstice), it's commonly used to represent the vigor and potency of the Sun God. Buy Chamomile in the shop : here
BASIL :
In some cultures, buying a newly wed couple a Basil plant will ensure they have a long and fruitful marriage. Not only is it believed that Basil brings in devotion and balances emotions in a partnership, it's also said that it keeps away un-wanted love interests! If you're looking for commitment or your marriage needs a lil' boost, basil is a great one to use. Add it to your food with intention, or add to your love themed spell oil. LAVENDER :
One of my personal faves for all things love and attraction! Even Cleopatra used to bathe in lavender to seduce her suitors. The scent is said to attract and help you keep love, so try lavender in your next spiritual bath ritual or use the essential oil in a ritual oil if you're single and looking! ROSE :
Of course, probably the most obvious of them all, but one that can't be left out! Rose is associated with all things love and beauty, the Goddess Aphrodite, and is known throughout many cultures as the herb of pleasure. Medicinally, Rose also helps to regulate hormones, improves circulation and reduces stress and anxiety. I always keep roses on my glamour altar, and they are included in the majority of my love and self love creations. Buy Rose in the shop : here
I'm actually slightly annoyed at myself now for only picking 5, because as I'd finished writing this I remembered another few of my favourites! (Hibiscus and Yarrow). You can also get a mixed bag of our Love Herb Spell Mix, which includes basil, rose, lavender, chamomile, hibiscus and damiana.
